Dr. Caitlan Boswell, DNP, AGACNP-C began her journey in the specialty of Burns and Wounds as a bedside nurse, where she spent ten years caring for patients with severe and life altering injuries.Her love for practicing medicine drove her to NP school where she graduated from Augusta University in 2024, with a Doctorates of Nursing Practice in Adult Gerontology Acute Care. Her desire for hands on care and critical care medicine lead her to stay close to her passion, burns, and wounds. Out of school, she took a job as a nurse practitioner for JMS Burn and Wound Center/ Burn and Reconstructive Centers of America. This position allowed her to learn from assist some of the best surgeons and mid-levels in the burn and wound reconstruction industry. She assisted in a variety of surgical procedures including laser treatments for patients with severe scars related to burns. Caitlan said,“I have always personally enjoyed aesthetics, but after getting to care for people long after the medical complications and hospital visits subsided, still dealing with their emotional injuries years down the road; I decided I wanted to do something different.I wanted to offer more than just assisting in surgery or practicing medicine. My goal is to help people struggling with how they feel about their appearance feel good again.Whether its a tattoo someone had done when they were young that they now regret, or scars that are bothersome, I want to assist people in finding the version of themselves that make them happy.” She has dedicated her free time to becoming certified in the latest laser techniques and procedures to help people in the general public who want to look in the mirror and like what they see. Cait is licensed through the state of Georgia as a RN, and as a Nurse Practitioner. She is ACLS, BLS, ABLS, and PALS certified. She holds certifications and licensure for laser treatments on 810 Diode, YAG-1064nm, Erbium YAG-2940nm, Fractional, Q-Switch-Pico Tattoo Removal , CO2 Eximer and IPL lasers. Every client is unique and Cait strives to bring the same level of compassion, precision, and commitment to every client. Her goal is to not only provide state of the art, quality care, but to create a safe space, a place to feel heard, feel seen, and most of all feel beautiful.
